Dinosaur Freeze

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.  In Little Ossies on Monday there were some very cold hands, even though it was a warmer day.  We discovered that some dinosaurs had been frozen in ice over the weekend and we had to try to get them out of the ice.

So with salt, sturdy plastic knives, warm water and eye droppers we set about freeing the dinosaurs with our own excavation.

Nothing came out of the ice blocks at the beginning of the day.

We worked really hard with our friends to melt the ice.

We squirted, shook salt and scraped the ice to try to move the dinosaurs inside.

By the end of the day some of the dinosaurs were still trapped in the frozen water. We will have to continue to try to free them tomorrow!
