Games Galore

In Little Ossies, these past few weeks, we have been learning some new games which are all about being part of a team.

We have played games called “Picadilly Circus”, “Touch and Go” and “Islands”.  Little Ossies have played these games as a class and with our other Prep classes as well.  It is lots of fun to get outside and play games with running or with balls or hoops.

We learned the rules of “Islands” on Thursday with Prep B.

We walked around the hoops waiting for Mrs Brown or Miss Griffiths to call out Islands.

Once "Islands" was called out everyone had till the count of 5 to find a hoop and stand inside the hoop with at least 1 other person.

Are there two or more children in each hoop?

We had to hold onto each other sometimes to make sure we didn't step on the hoop so that the children worked together to get a point and not the teachers.
