On the Thursday the preps learnt about ANZAC DAY. Prep H and Prep B then joined together to make ANZAC biscuits. We were very clever because after reading through the recipe, collecting the ingredients and writing out the 5 steps we needed to follow, we then were left to our own devices to measure, mix and create our own tray of ANZAC biscuits. We worked in small teams and apart from being clever cooks we were also resourceful and cooperative team members. We discovered that it is very helpful to communicate well; to talk to our team members the whole way through to ensure we were on the right track. Everyone agreed that our ANZAC biscuits were delicious.
Did you make some at home aver the weekend?
Enjoy looking at these photos showing some of our clever talents.

In our classroom in the last week of term, Little Ossies discovered a magical area. Where there used to be a tent or kitchen or laundry area in our classroom there is now a secret burrow where only very special helpers are welcome.
We entered 3 at a time through a special entrance tunnel.
We had to help each other, as well as the Easter Bunny.
We really enjoyed helping each other.
We worked with lots of different people in the class inside the special burrow.
We painted eggs.
We sorted the Bunny’s supplies.
We LOVED being in our secret “Rainbow Cave”.
We hope the Easter Bunny’s extra helpers will get everything done needed before the final egg delivery is needed!
