The past week in Little Ossies has been a very busy one; all week we have been very busy making some special gifts for our Mums which they will hopefully be opening on Mother’s Day on Sunday.
There was a lot to do to make something for Mum; we had to talk lots about her, practice our drawing, painting, writing and wrapping. It took a long time to do, but we loved doing it!
To make our wrapping paper extra special we did some magic making to make our paint.
We started with some Jelly paint (special mixture which was clear) and some magic rhymes.
The first rhyme was: “Alla kazam, alla kaZED, we’re going to turn this jelly paint RED”.
After we had done our first Magic Rhyme the Little Ossies had to predict what colour the jelly paint was going to be next by the start of the rhyme which Miss Griffiths said:
“Alla kazam, alla kaZOO, we going to turn this jelly paint _ _ _ _!”
We had seven times we had to find out what the magic colour was going to be. Can you work out what colour paint we ended up with by using rhyming?
We had: “Alla kazam, alla kaZED”, “Alla kazam, alla kaZOO”, “Alla kazam, alla kaZEEN”, “Alla kazam, alla kaZELLOW”, “Alla kazam, alla kaZOWN”, “Alla kazam, alla kaZURPLE” and “Alla kazam, alla kaZACK”.
To all of our fabulous Mums, we hope you enjoy your special Mother’s Day and enjoy the gift that we made for you. 🙂
