Amazing Bodies

In Little Ossies in the last few weeks we have been looking at our bodies and some of the amazing things they do.  We have been looking at skeletons both in x-rays and scans which have been sent in to our classroom.  We have also been looking at other parts of our bodies, such as our stomachs, intestines, heart, lungs, eyes and muscles. As part of looking at the human body, we have also been investigating what happens when something goes wrong with it.  A hospital has been in our classroom and we have been learning all about the different roles which doctors, nurses and other and patients have.

When you get to our hospital you have to make sure you are going to the right place. Lots of talking and noting down information has to happen at the hospital reception.

There were lots of patients who were very sick.

Hospital 3

We even had some special visitors to the classroom who had been to hospital recently. They had lots of expertise to share.

Other special visitors came in to share in the play as well.

Thank you to all those visitors and Little Ossies friends who have helped with equipment for our hospital. If anyone else is sick, our hospital staff are experts now and ready for a consultation!
