It was a very exciting day on Wednesday 20th August because we went on the bus to Mornington, to visit some very interesting places.

First we went to the Mornington Library. Many of our Mum’s met us there and we had a lovely time reading and listening to stories. Some children borrowed books to take home.

Next, we walked to the Museum where we learned what it was like to live in the olden days.

Lastly, we had a class photo taken in front of the old Lock-up. We were glad we didn’t have to sleep the night in there!!

  1. Such a great excursion. Thanks for including the mummies! I had lots of fun and learnt a great deal too!

  2. It was a great morning prep M, lots of fun. Who would have thought that phones you can not walk around with and you have to dial each no and wait are now considered part of the ‘olden days’. Thanks For not sending the mums or Mrs Mills to the lock up either!
