Puzzle Persistence

This week in Little Ossies we have taken on a big challenge. We found a puzzle in our collection which had 200 pieces in it! It was a special “Where’s Wally?” puzzle. The Little Ossies have really enjoyed reading “Where’s Wally?” books this year, so they decided to do this puzzle.
First some children sorted through the pieces. They found all the pieces which had one or two straight edges.

Then all of the edge pieces were joined together to make a frame for the puzzle.

We have been slowly adding more of the puzzle pieces to the puzzle.

We even had some of our Prep friends join in with doing the puzzles during Investigations time.

We haven't finished the puzzle yet, but will be continuing to persist with it next week.

We can’t wait to see the whole “Where’s Wally?” picture when it is finished. What day do you think it will be finished?

  1. Oh, I have had to hide this blog posting from Mr Heron because if he knows about your puzzle he’s sure to sneak in and do some himself!!!!!
